Raumer bolt hanger Anellox – AISI 316L

The Raumer bolt hanger Anellox is a so-called round hanger. This means that it consists of 8 mm round steel. Consequently, this bolt hanger can be built very differently. In the case of the Anellox, this is a ring-like shape with an extremely large amount of space in the carabiner eye. There are also no sharp edges.

This brings us to the areas of application for this lashing. On the one hand, it is mounted wherever a lot of slinging gear is attached. For example, 3-4 carabiners or screw links. This is the case when installing lighting or several ropes in different directions. On the other hand, this lug is also perfect wherever a sling is moved back and forth a lot under load. This is the case, for example, with slacklines, pulley systems, lifting work, etc.

Thirdly, these types of lugs are very good for building rope railings. Unlike the sharp “normal” bolt holes, they are much gentler on the quick links.

Raumer bolt hanger Anellox – best steel quality

This lug is made of AISI 316L steel (A4 steel). It can therefore be used anywhere in the Alps. It is best mounted with 10mm A4 steel expansion bolt to prevent galvanic corrosion. Like all Raumer products, this bracket is simply passivated. This means that the protective outer layer has been further strengthened by an acid bath.

The strap complies with the EN 959 standard. This makes it a suitable choice for official climbing areas and climbing frame holders.

Avoid galvanic corrosion

Only A4 steel quick links may be screwed into the Raumer bolt hanger Anellox. Zinc plated screw links lead to galvanic corrosion of the base metal. Therefore, make sure you use the right quality of steel when fitting.
