Do not hang in stainless steel fixed points!

The Camp Gym Safe is a zinc plated steel carabiner. This means that it is not a good idea to hang it on stainless steel anchor points. These are, for example, climbing anchors or rings made of AISI 316L steel or stainless steel chains.

This is because it triggers an electrochemical principle known as“galvanic corrosion“. In simple terms, the component made from the poorer quality steel begins to rust.
