Petzl K-Link screw link Anti-twist protection

The Petzl K-Link is a plastic anti-twist protection for the Petzl Go 8mm screw link.

This plastic part is clipped into the Go before it is closed. Once the twist lock has been tightened, the fixed Express or screw link can no longer twist at the fixed point.

This screw link lock therefore has two functions. On the one hand, it protects against twisting. On the other hand, it also aligns the screw link in the maximum load-bearing longitudinal direction!

The Petzl K-Link is ideal for the climbing gym quickdraw Axess String. Of course, this fixed quickdraw can also be used outdoors, e.g. for project climbing.

The anti-twist protection ensures significantly more safety. As already mentioned, it prevents the screw link from twisting and thus dangerous cross-loading.
Side effect. The screw link is always in the maximum loadable longitudinal direction.

No securing of the twist lock

Please note! The Petzl K-Link is not a protection against opening the quick link’s lock. This must always be properly closed with the appropriate torque.
