The Petzl Go 8mm screw link is an 89 x 34mm model with a 20mm wide opening. This means that it is relatively long and has an above-average opening.
This quick link made of zinc-plated steel is ideal for the fixed installation of indoor quickdraws. The wide opening allows it to be threaded through the eyelets of all common wall manufacturers.
This product is also the original for replacing the Petzl Djinn Steel Axess Express. Furthermore, the screw link is also compatible with the Petzl Tiptop Steel carabiner.
Conclusion. If you need an inexpensive, zinc-plated screw link for indoor use, this is the right choice.

When closing this product, make sure you use the correct torque.
This means that you must not tighten the Go too little, but also not too tightly. The ideal torque for this product is 3 Nm.
It is best to use a 15 mm open-end wrench. If the resistance suddenly increases significantly when tightening, simply leave it alone. Then the force is sufficient.
If you “donning” too hard, you risk blocking the closure after loading.
Under no circumstances should the screw link be left open. If you do not close it completely, you risk the product being stolen, as it can be opened by hand.

- the opening no longer works
- the product was loaded open (cap not closed!)
- it has been heavily notched on the bolt hanger, for example
