The Infinity AISI 316L bolt hanger is a perfect abseil point. This lanyard is particularly popular with speleologists and those establishing a climbing route.
Firstly, it is made of extremely corrosion-resistant material. High-quality AISI 316L steel. Secondly, three diameters are available. 8mm, 10mm and 12mm.
Speleologists really appreciate the 8mm version. This is because it saves weight thanks to smaller drill bits, less battery consumption and lighter 8mm expansion bolt. In the climbing sector, 10mm is common. Here, the lugs are usually attached in pairs slightly offset at abseiling points. The 12mm version is used in the construction of short rope railings, for slacklines or for mountain rescue operations.
And thirdly, the special design allows a carabiner to be attached at right angles to the rock. This allows the rope to be pulled off freely when rappelling. There can be no more jamming!

Areas of application Bolt hanger Infinity AISI 316L
This latch is perfect for all situations where the carabiner is to stand at right angles to the rock. In other words, it should be brought into a position where it stands freely away from the rock. This means that ropes, slings, loads etc. can be hooked in perfectly.
Consequently, typical areas of application are:
- Abseiling points
- Belay stations for fixed ropes
- Stands for mountain rescue operations
- Attachment points for work at heights
- Fixed points for slacklining
- Speleology
Prevents galvanic corrosion
The joint use of precious and base materials causes galvanic corrosion. For this reason, you may only use A4 steel bolts for the Infinity AISI 316L bolt hanger. And on the other hand, do not use zinc-plated screw links. This leads to “rusting” of the zinc-plated component over time.
