The Universals Hard Bassieros from Kop de Gas are thin piton. They are designed for narrow cracks.
Whether vertical or horizontal cracks and crevices. The sharp tip is ideal for “setting”. The shaft then runs up to 5mm thick.
The steel used in this model has been additionally hardened. This makes it ideal for hard types of rock. And secondly, the hook can also be hammered in and out often with a heavy big wall hammer.
The metal is additionally protected by an extra layer of paint.
