Bolt hanger with 2 rings

This bolt hanger with 2 rings is designed for abseiling. The two rings ensure that the lower ring is at a 90° angle to the rock. This means that the climbing rope runs through without friction.

The lug is a 3mm thick model made of AISI 316l steel with a 10mm hole. The rings are 10mm thick and have a welded seam. They also have an internal diameter of 31mm.

Why not an entire stand?

The bolt hanger with 2 rings is a great alternative to a climbing anchor in several situations. Firstly, in alpine terrain when you want to save weight when setting up.

Secondly, if you want to set up rappelling slopes where there is a lot of rappelling. This is because the upper ring is stressed by being attached in series. If this should become a little worn at some point, the straps can be swapped again. This means that the entire stand does not have to be replaced.

Due to the steel quality, this bracket may only be installed with A4 steel expansion bolt. This is because zinc plated bolts lead to galvanic corrosion.
