Austrialpin is an Austrian manufacturer of mountain sports equipment based in Fulpmes / Tyrol. The quality manufacturer has earned a very good reputation on the market with its solid products.

On the one hand, it offers articles that are predominantly produced in Austria. In short: firstly, proper social conditions for employees. Secondly, compliance with ecological standards. And thirdly, short delivery routes and therefore greater sustainability.

Company history
In 1996, four local craftsmen founded a new company in the Stubai Valley. The Austrialpin Vertriebs GmbH.

Up to this point, they were part of a cooperative. With the challenge of establishing themselves as mountain sports specialists. Because this cooperative made most of its turnover in other business areas.

The path to becoming a permanent fixture in the mountain sports sector was not easy. But on the one hand, the company is accompanied by a constant spirit of innovation. And on the other, a constant increase in quality.

Examples of these settings are e.g:

The constant growth is also reflected in the premises. In 2013, the Stubai Valley company opens its new sales building. An extension is also added in 2021, followed shortly afterwards by a new production hall on the company premises in Fulpmes.

The manufacturer’s logo stylizes the nearby mountain silhouette of the “Elfers” and “Zwölfers”. Seen from the valley, they form the characteristic double peak.

The colors red and white symbolize the reference to Austria. The word “Tirol” in the figurative mark is, on the one hand, a clear commitment to the origin. On the other hand, it is an expression of regionality in relation to the Alpine region.

Sustainable management
Austrialpin develops and produces exclusively in Tyrol. This means no imports from the Far East with long sea routes and high CO2 consumption. Instead, short distances and proper social and ecological standards.

But the company does even more than that. The company’s own photovoltaic system significantly reduces energy consumption. Efforts are also being made to reduce packaging material and produce in a resource-saving manner.

Austrialpin bolting products
Many products are available here. For example glue in bolt, climbing anchors, bolt hanger and steel carabiners. They are all made of AISI 316L steel and comply with current standards.

This allows you to set up a climbing route with expansion bolt . You can also set up a climbing route with glue in bolt. Or you can choose the appropriate lower off / climbing anchors.

Carabiners and quickdraws

With the belay device Fish, the Tyroleans have brought a popular product onto the market. This semi-automatic machine is very popular with children, teenagers and adults alike.

This belay device is easy to use on the one hand. And secondly, it is lightweight and highly functional. No wonder it is now one of the most popular belay devices in the climbing scene.

The belay device is available in two versions. Firstly as a set in turquoise-blue with a green 3-way autolock carabiner. And secondly as a “Gold Fish” in gold color with a black 3-way autolock carabiner.

Austrialpin’s crampon are among the most popular all-round products on the market. Only steelcrampon are manufactured. Consequently, we also recommend these items for all-round use.

Due to the wide range of applications, they are also represented in our range accordingly. We recommend one of the models for each of these areas of application.

Ice climbing: The SKYSTEEP can be used both as a mono-point and duo-point crampon crampon. This means that you can convert the front points of this toggle crampon yourself.
Alpinism: The SKYCLIMB is the perfect crampon for difficult glacier tours and regular ice passages. Available with rocker, combi and basket binding.
Mountaineering: The SKYWALK is the perfect crampon for classic mountaineering. Small glacier crossings, short ice passages and firn fields. Available with rocker, combi and basket binding.

Austrialpin ice axe & ice climbing axes
The Austrian manufacturer has many attractive ice axes and ice climbing axes in its range for alpinists. With them, you are properly geared up for any glacier travelling or icefall.

The ice axe range, such as the G-Light, Compact or Simple, is dominated by simple design and functionality. If you are looking for a solid standard ice axe, you have come to the right place.

There are four models of ice climbing axes to choose from. Firstly, the “real” ice climbing axes K.ICE.R and WALL.ICE. These are ideal for steep ice. Secondly, the PRINZ.ESSIN and PRINZ mini ice climbing axes. These are valuable and, above all, lightweight helpers for steep ski tours or easy ice passages!

Via ferrata sets
Austrialpin offers two modern via ferrata sets for every level. The Colt Evo and the Hydra Evo. The latter is equipped with the innovative third arm “Ferrata Bloc”. An automatically moving device that blocks immediately in the event of a fall.

With the via ferrata sets, you are perfectly geared for any situation. This is because the carabiners have a simple palm safety device. This makes clipping quick and safe. The elastic catch arms are standard arms as can currently be found on all modern sets. An all-round well-balanced offer.

Dyneema cordalettes
Austrialpin also has high-quality cordalettes in its range with the Dyna.mit series.

These are available in three lengths and four colors.

170cm – black

290 cm – red or gray

530cm – blue

The Dyneema core makes these products extremely robust. Thanks to their high cut resistance, they can withstand very high loads. The polyamide sheath makes them very easy to knot. It also protects against harmful UV radiation.
