For many techno routes and big walls, you need the right big wall gear. This is often referred to as big wall gear. We ourselves have climbed several El Cap routes such as “The Nose” and “Salathe” as well as “Zodiac”. So we know exactly what is important when it comes to equipment!
Everything from a single source!
With us, you get everything from a single source. That is the most important benefit for our customers. No ordering on countless platforms. We cover the entire range of big wall gear.
What is the “right” big wall gear?
The Big Wall Gear has a very large number of individual pieces of equipment. Not all of them are equally important. Here is a list of those parts that simply have to fit in order to be successful:

Wide, comfortable Big Wall harness
Enough normal hooks and the right mix (Knifeblades, Angles, Baby Angles, Lost Arrows, Bird Beaks,…
Heavy big wall hammer with lots of “pull”
Hauling gear is one of the most important pieces of big wall gear!
–> Static rope, pulley, Haulbag, Swivel,…
Nuts set with several types of nuts (Offwidth Nuts, Offwidth Micro Nuts, normal nuts, Hexentrics,…) and in sufficient quantity (double set)
friends Set with several types (Normal friends, Offwidth friends, Micro Cams like C3’s or Aliens, Offwidth Aliens for pin-scars,…)
Adjustable daisies, i.e. adjustable stepladders

Big Wall Gear is definitely worth a try
From our own experience we know about the difficulties of multi-day techno routes. For example, climbing too low on the ladder or a poor set-up when hauling, etc…

Our practical tip is therefore. Practice using your big wall gear in a targeted manner and find the best set-up for you.

Perfect hauling incl. correct belay station set-up
hanging and unhooking the haulbag from the stand, as well as packing and unpacking it correctly (in the wall)
Systematic, high ascent in the stepladders
the set-up of the stepladders and your adjustable lanyard
Efficient and fast jumarn
