The Camp Lost Arrow is a legendary normal hook. This model has been on the market unchanged for over 3 decades.

The reason for its popularity is easy to explain. This hook is perfect for narrow cracks and crevices in granite. Thanks to its eight different dimensions, it covers an enormous range of placements.

As a result, it is an integral part of any techno big wall in Yosemite, for example. Here, Lost Arrow’s are the absolute standard for narrow cracks and are the reason for the fame of this type of hook.

Camp Lost Arrow = 8 dimensions

As already mentioned, this piton is produced in eight dimensions.

On the one hand, the shaft length is 45mm up to 115mm. And secondly, the thickness of the shaft ranges from 5mm to 7.5mm. In addition, all models have a slightly different width.

Robust hook model

The Camp Lost Arrow piton is extremely robust. This is due to the clever design with a very strong carabiner eye. This allows the normal hook to be inserted and removed many times.

The nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel also contributes greatly to its durability. What’s more, this piton is coated with a black protective coating. This provides additional protection against corrosion.
