Stubai bolt hanger Protect – AISI 316L

The Stubai bolt hanger Protect is the perfect hanger to attach carabiners to. I.e. for all applications such as:

• work at heights
• Mountain rescue maneuvers
• Flying Fox
• Exercise belay stations
• Mountain rescue operations

The enlarged or rounded contact surface in the carabiner eyelet prevents the sharp edges from “cutting into” the carabiner. As a result, the Stubai Bergsport lanyard is particularly useful in situations where the carabiner is regularly subjected to high loads over a long period of time. Possibly even with additional “shear forces”, such as in slacklining. This is because the carabiners are often particularly badly damaged by the constant back and forth under load!

The special feature of the lanyard is its design. Compared to other products, the Protect does not have a thin and sharp carabiner loop. On the one hand, this strap has a wide carabiner eyelet. On the other hand, it also has a nice round shape. As a result, no sharp edges can “cut” into the carabiners.

For 10mm and 12mm expansion bolt

The Stubai bolt hanger Protect is available in 12 versions. Firstly for 10mm and secondly for 12mm expansion bolt. This allows you to choose the ideal model depending on the load or quality of the rock surface.

We recommend:

• Fischer FBNII 12/10 A4 for heavy loads such as slacklining or flying fox
• Fischer FBN II 10/10 A4 for normal loads such as work at heights or mountain rescue operations

Stubai bolt hanger Protect – permanent installation

If you want to install the bracket permanently on the rock, you must ensure that it is suitable expansion bolt. This means that zinc-plated expansion bolt must not be used. This leads to galvanic corrosion.

The bracket must not be permanently installed near the sea. This is because it does not have the necessary corrosion resistance or steel quality class.
