Watch out for galvanic corrosion!

Please always combine zinc-plated components with other zinc-plated components such as bolt hanger. If the fixed point is made of zinc plated steel, you must use a link with the same steel quality. This is the only way to ensure long-term durability. I.e. over many years.

Problematic DIY store screw links

Unfortunately, DIY store quick links keep turning up in the climbing equipment of our drilling course participants. Watch out! These can be life-threatening. The breaking loads are often only a few hundred kilos. Consequently, these links do not meet any standards.

Only use standardized or tested products such as the quick link Kong long 10mm. They are clearly recognizable by the markings on the side. Only standardized material should be used in the above-mentioned areas.
