Description
Here you will find the removable bolt hanger from Kop de Gas. If required, it can be placed over 8mm and 10mm expansion bolt can be inserted. This is why the clip is also known as a “rivet hanger”.
If you then hang a quickdraw to it, the strap can no longer come loose. Provided a nut is still fitted to the expansion bolt.

Use as a rivet hanger
Many classic techno routes have rivets installed. These are short threaded screws that are simply hammered into an 8mm hole.
Such fixed points are particularly common on routes in Yosemite. Here, big wall climbers often have up to 20 of them with them to hoist themselves over the so-called “rivet ladders”.
