Brass perforated brush

Ourperforated brass brush is made of soft wire and enables the Hole cleaning in concrete and rock. It is perfect for holes in which glue in bolt / Bühler bolt are to be drilled later. Depending on the model (diameter), drilling holes from 10mm to 20mm can be ideally cleaned. This means that the 14mm version is also perfect for small via ferrata anchor or step and handlebar perfect.

As the market leader for bolting and via ferrata materials, we naturally also offer the right brushes for cleaning drilling holes in our range. There are three alternatives.

Firstly, our inexpensive plastic drilling hole brushes. The diameters range from 10mm to 14mm. They are suitable for drilling holes from 8mm to 14mm. I.e. the most popular expansion bolt and glue in bolt diameters as well as many brackets.

Secondly, perforated brushes made of hard steel bristles for strictly compliant types according to building regulations, which is why we offer the Fischer perforated brush made of stainless steel. These are available in diameters from 9mm to 40mm. Consequently, these brushes are one millimeter or 2-4 millimeters larger than the respective drilling diameter of the SDS drill. They are recommended for anyone who has to clean a large number of holes. In addition, they are mandatory for all tradesmen who have to clean concrete holes in accordance with the approval.

And thirdly, the brass hole brushes offered here. They have much softer bristles and are ideal for bolting in all types of rock. This is because their diameter can be taken 1:1 to the drilling hole diameter.

Diameter control

Check regularly whether the diameter of your brush still fits. Simply note the insertion resistance. As soon as the brush can be inserted into the hole without any noticeable resistance, it should be replaced. Brushes that are significantly narrower than the drill diameter should not be used.

In addition to the 20 mm hole brush, you also need a drilling hole blow out pumb . Regardless of whether you want to set up a climbing route with expansion bolt . Or you want to set up a climbing route with glue in bolt. The drilling holes must be clean. Especially when glue in bolt setting, the drilling hole must be completely free of drilling dust. Holes for expansion bolt are not so sensitive. However, we clearly recommend cleaning these as well.
