Soleymieux Wide Kong bolt hanger

The Soleymieux Wide Kong bolt hanger is the matching hanger for the Soleymieux system. I.e. the Fix Soleymieux Kong quickdraws and the Fix Soleymieux Kong heavy-duty anchors.

The system is designed for permanent installation without a fixed bolt hanger. This is because the hooks have a special “mounting link” between the base and the nut. The removable “Soleymieux Wide” lanyard can be mounted on this. And the Soleymieux lanyard on the other.

These properties make the system particularly interesting for a few areas of application. Firstly, for all fixed rappelling and work stations where as little visual impact as possible is required. For example, on the façades of historical buildings or natural monuments.

Secondly, for fixed points that are only to be used by authorized persons. Only the ends with the mounting link protrude from the ground. Consequently, the anchor points can only really be used with the appropriate Soleymieux articles. Applications include entrance shafts for caves, temporary belay stations for courses, mountain rescue services, facades on buildings, etc.

Attaching the Soleymieux Wide Kong bolt hanger

Attaching the strap is very simple. Firstly, you just need to open the small wire catch. Secondly, hook the strap into the bolt and press it firmly into the slot. Thirdly, press the wire catch closed and the strap is secured.

Use of Soleymieux fasteners

The matching lanyard is also very easy to use. First press on the locking mechanism. Slide the Soleymieux over the mounting link and press it shut. The mechanism snaps shut and is locked!
