The Raumer Fork is a special speleo glue in bolt. It is designed as a safe anchor point for the direct insertion of climbing ropes. By attaching it with injection mortar or the two long shafts, the hook can also be anchored in soft rock. This basically creates redundancy, so only one glue in bolt needs to be attached per “stand”.
The high AISi 316L steel quality ensures extreme durability of the Speleo glue in bolt. This is particularly advantageous in the moist environment of caves.

belay station with only 1 hook
The Raumer FORK Speleo glue in bolt is a super secure fixed point. This is because it is fixed with two shafts. These are 10 x 100mm in size. This means that you can anchor the hook even in very soft rock.
Secondly, the shanks have a heavily ribbed surface over 80 mm. This enables a perfect form fit with the injection mortar.
The two shafts create a kind of redundancy. Provided the rock base is solid and the installation is correct, it is impossible for both anchoring parts to “tear out”.
Consequently, one hook is sufficient here as belay station. A big saving in material and therefore costs.
Raumer Fork – Drilling jig strongly recommended
We recommend using a drilling jig to set this Speleo glue in bolt.
This helps you to drill the drilling holes very precisely. The jig has two mandrels for this. Once the first hole has been drilled, one goes into the hole. The second mandrel is larger and a 12 mm drill bit fits through it. So you can always drill the 2nd hole accurately.
