The U Shaped Soft Ecos from Kop de Gas are special piton made of mild steel.
Firstly, they have a U profile. Hence the name.
Secondly, they are made of mild steel. This makes them ideal for placing in soft rock and irregular cracks.
Thirdly, their shank profile is very wide. This makes them ideal for parallel cracks, where V-profile hooks do not hold so well.
