Fischer hole brush BS
The German brand manufacturer Fischer naturally also offers the right brushes for cleaning drilling holes in its range. There are two alternatives.
On the one hand, there is the Fischer brush set, with two plastic hole brushes. The diameters are 14mm and 20mm. They are suitable for drilling holes from 10mm to 16mm. These brushes are for cleaning holes in masonry in accordance with the approval.
The second is the Fischer stainless steel hole brush. These are available in diameters from 9mm to 40mm. Consequently, these brushes are one millimeter or 2-4 millimeters larger than the respective drilling diameter of the SDS drill bit. They are recommended for anyone who has to clean a large number of holes. In addition, they are mandatory for all tradesmen who have to clean concrete holes in accordance with the approval.

Below is an overview of the brush sizes available. On the one hand, the diameter of small sizes is 1mm more than the drill diameter. On the other hand, it is 2mm or 4mm larger for wider holes.

Diameter control template
Use the template provided to regularly check whether the diameter of your brush still fits. This is because you must not use brushes that are narrower than the drill diameter.
More suitable blow out pumb
In addition to the Fischer BS hole brush, you also need a drilling hole blow out pumb . Regardless of whether you want to set up a climbing route with expansion bolt . Or if you want to set up a climbing route with glue in bolt. The drilling holes must be clean. Especially when glue in bolt setting, the drilling hole must be completely free of drilling dust. Holes for expansion bolt are not so sensitive. However, we clearly recommend cleaning these as well.
