Stand refurbishment

This long-link round steel chain is perfect for renovating stands. You don’t have to remove the old bolt hanger or glue in bolt. This saves an enormous amount of time! Simply hang the chain between the fixed points without tension using two matching quick links. That’s it.

Avoid galvanic corrosion

The round steel chain long link is made of AISI 316 steel. I.e. A4 steel. Consequently, suitable screw links must be added to avoid galvanic corrosion (contact corrosion).

This is because combining precious and non-precious components causes this undesirable type of “rusting”.

Storing long-link round steel chain correctly

Store this steel chain dry and separate from other steel parts. Also include information that the chain is made of A4 steel. This is the only way to know which steel quality can be used for a long time afterwards.
