This expansion bolt split bolt is designed to prevent theft of bolt hanger intended. It can be used to easily split the protruding shaft of expansion bolt. This means that the nuts or lugs can no longer simply be unscrewed.

This is how it works! You can set your expansion bolt as usual.

Then place the bolt in the center of the bolt shaft. Now hit the bolt with a powerful blow from your rock hammer. Repeat several times if necessary.

This allows you to split the threaded part and thus secure the nut. This can then no longer be unscrewed and the tab stolen.
